Here are a few tools I rely on. Try them and watch your productivity increase. (BTW while raised on PC, I am a Mac user now so all these tools are on my iMac, iPad or iPhone).
This note-taking app is my memory center and I can’t do without it now.
The Line2 app not only provides me with a secondary phone number but allows me to make/receive calls over wifi/3G so my phone is actually a phone in the land of #ATTfail.
Perfect for time tracking as an independent consultant. Easy to bill clients and look pro. Mobile app helps when out at meetings.
While it has some flaws, this is best free email client for desktops I’ve found. It integrates well with multiple email accounts and can handle Gmail aliases.
I resisted at first but yea, I like using Chrome now. Quick, reliable, and easy to search with. It also is friendly with sites that don’t like Safari.
